Happy New Year!
Jenn and I hope that you had a great Christmas with your family and friends. We definitely did!
I wanted to shoot you all an email to give you a brief update on things that have taken place since our last meeting.
FAMILY
First off, our ever changing and crazy family did just that…it changed and got crazier. We first welcomed a granddaughter, Campbell Jane, on the 16th and the very next evening welcomed in two foster boys (ages 2 and 3) into our home – this was unplanned. Needless to say Christmas, Birthdays, Events and New Years were all totally different than we had planned. Thank you to all of you who pitched in and went the extra mile to love on our family and these boys.
CITY CHURCH
- Partnerships: Over the last several weeks I have had the opportunity to meet with different strategic partners. There has been an overwhelming support for City Church and I am very thankful for your prayers in those meetings and the ones still to come.
- When: The question asked to me the most often is: “When?” “When are you wanting to start?” and other questions similar to that. Our goal is the launch City Church between April and the Summer of 2015
- Where: We currently have two options available to us starting in April. We have not confirmed either location and hope to answer this question fully at our next meeting.
- Next Meeting: We will be meeting on January 22nd from 6:30p to 8p at our House. There will be activities and supervision for children.
PRAYER
- Time: With limited time between now and the launch of City Church, Pray that the time used and invested in City Church goes a long way. Pray also that our core group of supporters and leaders schedules work together as we begin meeting on a regular basis.
- Resources: We believe God has all the resources we will ever need, join us in Praying that God would show and make ready the resources needed to do ministry in our area, both financially and physically.
- Leadership: That God would be preparing men and women who can help lead teams, be part of the vision and serve. That God would be preparing other full-time ministry leaders to serve for Children, Worship, and in the Community
-For the Kingdom
